Football
Ambassadors Football had the privilege of being officially received by the State Minister in the Ministry of Sports, who commended the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote grassroots football development in Rwanda. The State Minister particularly highlighted the impact of Ambassadors Football’s initiatives in providing children between the ages of 6 and 13 with structured opportunities to play football in safe and supportive environments
In addition, the State Minister recognized the significance of Ambassadors Group Rwanda Ltd’s ball manufacturing initiative, which is enabling young players to access durable and high-quality footballs. This innovation is contributing not only to player development but also to the advancement of Rwanda’s sporting ecosystem.
During the meeting, Mr. Jonathan Ortlip, International Director of Ambassadors Football International and Chairman of Ambassadors Group Rwanda Ltd, presented several projects currently under consideration. Among these is the establishment of a junior football pitch designed for players under 17, which will also serve as a venue for various football leagues across Kigali. This project is envisioned as an important step toward strengthening youth football infrastructure in Rwanda.
The discussions also reaffirmed Rwanda’s recognition of sport as a growing economic sector, with significant potential for investment and development. Ambassadors Football Rwanda remains committed to supporting this vision by advancing football as both a tool for community transformation and a driver of national growth.
