Whenever something is beautiful, strong, and durable, many people assume it must come from somewhere else, Europe, Asia, or another corner of the world. Rarely do they imagine it could come from Rwanda
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people, handing them one of our footballs, and asking a simple question: “Where do you think this ball is made?” Almost always, the answers are the same, China, Pakistan, or somewhere far away. The look of surprise on their faces when I tell them, “This ball is made in Rwanda,” is unforgettable.
And not just anywhere in Rwanda. Our footballs are made in Kagamba, a remote community in the Northern Province, where young girls and women are handcrafting world-class balls that are not only beautiful but built to endure the toughest conditions.

Today, we are proud to introduce our new ball brand, designed with premium durable leather, created specifically to withstand Rwanda’s rough fields and the demanding play of our communities. This new leather is tougher, longer-lasting, and ensures that players can enjoy the game with a ball they can trust.
The story doesn’t end with the product. These footballs are changing lives. Behind every stitch is a young girl gaining skills, a family finding new hope, and a community discovering pride in work that speaks to the world.
Just today, I walked into sports shops with our newest ball in hand, eager to hear their feedback. Without hesitation, they agreed: “This is a great ball.” Their excitement affirmed what we already knew, Rwanda can produce footballs of the highest quality, balls that rival anything made abroad.

This new brand is not just about leather and stitching. It’s about dignity, opportunity, and the belief that excellence can indeed come from Rwanda.
So, the next time you see one of our footballs, remember: it’s not from China, not from Pakistan. It’s from Kagamba, Rwanda, crafted by hands with skill, pride, and hope.
Made in Rwanda. Made to Last. Made to Inspire.
